Uniqlo gives Laura Ashley a make-over

In case you didn’t already know, I love, love, love Uniqlo. They are everything that Gap forgot to be/used to be, and just about sum up my philiophy on casual dressing. So much so that practically all of my jeans come from there. They do a fabulously comfy selection of skinnies with a suitably generous fit to accomodate all shapes and sizes. I would definitely recommend a visit to a local branch if you have one, of if not check out their website:

Just in time for the warmer weather, Uniqlo have lauched a collaboration with Laura Ashley and have got some gorgeously dizty t-shirts and tops based on Laura Ashley fabrics. Here’s a pic showing off one of their new coloured skinnies teamed with a Laura Ashley t-shirt.

Seriously, if anything is going to get me into the colour block/pop of colour trend this is:

I do find these incredibly wearable, and think they would look perfect with a pair of blue jeans. Here’s another gorgeous t-shirts that’s part of the collection:

Top marks to Uniqlo for bringing Laura Ashley bang up to date and making it wearable again.

Laura Ashley and UNIQLO will make a donation from the net sales of the collection to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the UN agency providing protection and support to refugees worldwide.
